2022 Hyundai Kona Electric

2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5
The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is also available through Hyundai Evolve, the automaker's monthly car rental plan. This modern compact hatchback is an EV that offers buyers plenty of interior space. It's currently only available at select Hyundai dealers in a limited number of states, including New Jersey. The Ioniq 5 is Hyundai's first model built on the automaker's new Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) instead of a platform converted from a gasoline model.
The Ioniq 5 is offered in four trim levels: SE Standard, SE, SEL and Limited. Buyers can choose from two drive systems. The standard configuration features a single rear-mounted electric motor that generates 168 horsepower. An available long-range battery boosts the output to 225 hp. An optional dual-motor all-wheel-drive system puts out 320 hp. The Ioniq 5 has a range of approximately 303 miles. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at up to 132 MPGe city/98 MPGe highway.
The Ioniq 5 can be charged to 80% of capacity from a 10% charge in just 18 minutes, using a fast 350-kW charger. With the standard 10.9-kW onboard charger and a Level 2 charging system, drivers can charge the battery in 6 hours and 43 minutes.
The Evolve program is a Hyundai car rental plan that's ideal for anyone who wants to drive one of Hyundai's electric vehicles without the cost and commitment of a long-term lease or a vehicle purchase.
