For the 2024 model year, the Hyundai Santa Cruz sees a trim replacement, with the new sporty XRT trim taking over from the SEL Premium. This trim includes features from the SEL AWD Activity Package plus XRT-exclusive additions. Notable changes include new wheels with orange anodized center caps, black-colored door handles and mirror caps, and wider fender cladding on the XRT trim. The SE and SEL are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine developing 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of twist, managed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Night, XRT, and Limited trims are equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the SE and SEL trims. All-wheel drive is standard on the Night, XRT, and Limited and available on the SE and SEL.
