Pitman Hyundai Dealer
The 2024 Hyundai Palisade stands out in the midsize SUV segment, offering a combination of practicality, affordability, and luxury. When you see the Palisade at a dealership like the Pitman Hyundai dealer, you may notice it shares some structural features with the Kia Telluride. But the Palisade has a distinct appearance that sets it apart from its Kia cousin. With a composed and easygoing demeanor on the road, the Palisade is perfectly suited for extended journeys. Its upscale cabin boasts high-quality materials and three rows of seating, further enhanced by Hyundai's meticulous integration of connectivity and convenience features.
The upper Limited and Calligraphy trims elevate the luxurious experience. These models indulge passengers with features like quilted leather seats, sophisticated trim details, and second-row captain's chairs.

For 2024, the Palisade lineup welcomes the addition of the Calligraphy Night Edition trim, characterized by its distinctive black wheels, eye-catching black exterior accents, black roof rails, and matching black leather interior. According to the Pitman Hyundai dealership, dual-zone front and single-zone rear automatic climate control is now included in the entry-level SE trim. Rear-side window shades are now standard in the XRT, and ambient interior lighting is standard in the Limited.
Edmunds gives the 2024 Hyundai Palisade high marks, writing:
"The Hyundai Palisade might be new to the three-row crossover SUV segment, but it's already one of our top picks. Packed with value, comfort and capability, the Palisade has everything shoppers are looking for."
Six trim levels are available: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition. Every model is motivated by a 3.8-liter V6 engine, generating 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, and all-wheel drive is available.
The SE trim gets a standard second-row bench seat that seats eight passengers, while this feature is optional for the SEL. The other trims get standard captain's chairs, which lower the seating capacity to seven.
The Palisade's cabin looks and feels like that of a higher-end SUV. Its interior styling is refined, the materials exude quality, and the well-designed seats are comfortable. The Ergo-motion driver's seat is a standout option, borrowing technology from Hyundai's Genesis luxury division. This unique seat incorporates air cells that heighten support and comfort, enhancing the driving experience.
Space inside the Palisade is generous. The second row offers an impressive 42.4 inches of leg room, comfortably accommodating adult passengers. Meanwhile, the third row's leg room checks in at 31.4 inches.
Cargo capacity is a highlight in the Palisade, with a substantial 86.4 cubic feet of space when both rear rows are folded. With the third row down, there are 45.8 cubic feet behind the second row. Loading and unloading are facilitated by a wide rear opening, and the thoughtful addition of an under-floor storage compartment enhances utility. Cargo space behind the third row checks in at 18 cubic feet.
As of this writing, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has yet to review the 2024 Hyundai Palisade. However, the 2023 Palisade was rated a Top Safety Pick+, the organization's highest safety designation. We expect identical scores for the current model.
