Where is Evole+ available?

Evolve+ is currently available at a limited number of participating dealers in AL, AR, CA, CO, GA, MA, MD, MS, NJ, OR, SC, TN, VA & WA. Be sure to check back as more participating dealers join our growing program.

What is included in the monthly payment?

As an Evolve+ subscriber, your 28-day monthly payment includes maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.

Does it include complimentary Bluelink?

Bluelink is not included with Evolve+ vehicles. In case of an accident the vehicle will not assist in an emergency.

What are the eligibility requirements?
  • 25 years of age or older
  • Credit score of 650 or higher
  • At least 3 years of recent driving history and clean driving record
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Valid credit card in your name (Debit/Prepaid cards are not accepted)
Will credit check affect my score?

The application process includes a credit check to determine eligibility. You must have a credit score of 650 or greater to qualify. The credit check will not affect your score.

Is there any advance or down payment needed?

The only payment required is your initial subscription payment and a non-refundable activation fee.

How long does the application take?

The application process will take approximately 5 minutes and can be done from your mobile device through the Evolve+ app. You will need your driver’s license and your credit card to complete your application. Once completed, it may take up to 2 business days to validate your driver’s license and eligibility, but in most cases, it is completed within minutes. When your application is approved, you will receive a notification from Evolve+.

I signed up but there no vehicles available. How long will I have to wait?

There is no guarantee that we will have a vehicle available. If there are no vehicles available in your area, the app will prompt you to join our waiting list. As soon as new vehicles come into our inventory in your area, we will notify you by email and with a notification in the app. Please be patient and check your email for updates about vehicle availability. Usually vehicles don’t last long when they are made available. To ensure you are able to reserve the vehicle as quickly as possible after you get an email notification that it is available, we recommend that you click through the application to get approved ahead of time. There is no cost to you for applying for approval.

Can I use my Evole+ car to drive for Uber, Lyft or other sharing economy platforms?

No. Our service does not allow for any on-demand delivery services, ride-hailing, carsharing or any other sharing services and all are strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in an immediate termination of your subscription, expulsion from the program, payment of fees, excess wear, mileage and the return of your vehicle.

How do I get my first vehicle?

You can select a vehicle, schedule your pickup, and pay for your subscription, all through the mobile app.

How long can I subscribe yo a vehicle?

All vehicles come with a monthly subscription (28-day terms). You can renew as frequently as you would like, pending vehicle condition and eligibility.

Do I have a mileage limit?

The 28-day monthly term includes 1,000 miles. If you exceed 1,000 miles in 28 days, your account will be automatically charged at $20.00 per increment of 100 miles until you reach 1,500 miles. Thereafter, every mile over 1,500 will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per mile. However, if you use less than your allotted 1,000 miles in 28 days, your unused miles will automatically roll over if you renew your subscription.

What if I run of of battery?

If you run out of battery, the Hyundai roadside assistance program can tow the vehicle to the nearest charging station or Hyundai dealer for charging. Call Hyundai Roadside Assistance service at 800-243-7766 to get help if your battery is empty. You can also ‘click’ to call roadside from the app when you are in an active Hyundai Evolve+ subscription.

Can other people drive my vehicle?

Once approved, you may add an additional driver. Additional drivers will receive a link to become approved. Additional drivers must be a spouse or domestic partner of the primary driver and must meet the program’s eligibility requirements. Allowing someone to drive the vehicle who is not the registered driver and/or subscriber of the subscription service will automatically disqualify you from our program and makes you personally liable for anything that happens to the vehicle.

Can I swap vehicles with available inventory in the fleet?

You are not currently able to schedule a swap for another vehicle through the app.

What do I need to do on the day of my vehicle pick up or drop off?

You will be required to show your driver’s license and credit card at the time of your pickup. An Evolve+ representative will explain how the vehicle works, and what to do in case of an accident or a breakdown and will answer any questions you may have.

When you drop off the vehicle, the Evolve+ representative will begin an inspection and will discuss your options for resolving any issues discovered with the vehicle.

What does maintenance coverage include?

Maintenance includes periodic vehicle checks of key systems and components per the manufacturer’s recommended schedule. You do not need to keep track of your vehicle’s maintenance schedule since Evolve+ does that for you. If your vehicle is due for maintenance, Evolve+ will contact you to arrange a service appointment. If your maintenance reminder light turns on and Evolve+ has not contacted you already to make arrangements for a service appointment, you contact your dealer to set up a complimentary service appointment.

Maintenance or service deemed to be necessary due to negligent use will be the financial responsibility of the subscriber as per our terms of the user agreement

What is covered under roadside assistance?

Our roadside assistance service provides breakdown help, including towing, unlocking the vehicle, and any other service needed when an incident or breakdown occurs. If you need roadside assistance, please call 800-243-7766 or go to the Account feature and tap the Roadside Assistance button to be connected with a customer care agent. Please know that response times vary, depending on your location and time of day.

How do I pay things like parking tickets or tolls?

Evolve+ will be billed for any e-tickets or e-toll payments you incur. Once Evolve+ receives the bill, your account will be charged, and you will be notified of the charges via email. If you receive any physical tickets, citations, or toll charges tied to the vehicle, you are responsible for contacting your local Evolve+ dealer to make payments.

In the event we are unable to collect payment for these fees, your Evolve+ participation may be suspended until payment is received.

What should I do if I get into a car accident?

If you get into a car accident, please ensure you are safe, and then contact the police or 911 if appropriate. Once you and your passengers are safe, contact the insurance company's claims center at 877-212-2556 or the phone number listed on the insurance card in the glovebox, then contact your local Evolve+ dealer.
