The 2024 Tucson is available in four trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, and Limited. There are also hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, not reviewed here. All models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between front and all-wheel drive.
The Tucson gets commendable fuel economy ratings, with an EPA-estimated 25 mpg city/32 mpg highway for models with front-wheel drive and 23 mpg city/29 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.*
