2024 Hyundai Model Year Changes

For 2024, the Hyundai Elantra gets refreshed styling, featuring a more defined front-end, contemporary wheel designs, and updated lighting. It now offers a palette enriched with shades such as Ultimate Red and Exotic Green. Safety enhancements include the addition of standard rear side-impact airbags and a seatbelt reminder for the rear seat. Standard features like lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert have been upgraded to provide tactile haptic feedback to the driver via the steering wheel.

Next up for the 2024 Hyundai model year changes is the Hyundai Ioniq 5. For 2024, Hyundai maintains the Ioniq 5's core design and features, making only subtle equipment modifications.

The Ioniq 6 carries over from the previous model year with no changes.

For 2024, the Hyundai Kona undergoes a complete redesign featuring a contemporary and polished look that signals a new era for this iconic model. A thin running light extends across the vehicle's width, and the previous grille has been upgraded with active shutters for improved airflow. The rear gets a red running light strip. The N Line variant offers body-colored cladding and an attractive rear spoiler for those seeking a sportier touch. The N-Line trim gets unique wheels and bumpers.

The Kona's redesign is particularly evident on the inside. The cabin now boasts dual 12.3-inch displays, replacing the older infotainment and gauge-cluster screens. Added creature comforts include an available heated steering wheel, optional heated and ventilated seats, and multiple USB-C charge ports in the front and rear. The gear lever is relocated to the steering column, providing ample center storage space. The vehicle has grown by 5.7 inches, offering enhanced rear legroom and additional cargo capacity, while slimmer front seat designs provide even more rear leg room.

Like its gasoline-powered sibling, the 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric heralds the start of a new generation. With added length and width and a longer wheelbase, the Kona Electric provides even more utility. This EV's eye-catching design featuring expansive LED headlights and taillights is a distinct departure from the previous model.

For the 2024 model year, The Hyundai Palisade introduces some subtle yet significant updates that continue to position it as a frontrunner in the full-sized SUV segment. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe gets a distinctive transformation. With a complete overhaul of its interior paired with a refreshed exterior, the Santa Fe now features a longer wheelbase and a more compact front overhang. The introduction of a third row ensures additional space compared with its predecessor.

The 2024 Hyundai Sonata gets a fresh look that replaces its distinctive daytime running lights with an innovative design that spans the entire width of the front bumper. The rear bumper cover and taillights are restyled. But the most notable transformation is inside. A pair of 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreens graces the dashboard. Inside, the Tucson Hybrid and Tucson PHEV have elevated their tech games with a standard 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen previously only found in the SEL Convenience and Limited. Also new is the addition of haptic feedback in the steering wheel for critical functions like lane-keep assist and blind-spot collision avoidance, as well as the inclusion of rear side airbags. Rounding out the exterior aesthetics, the distinct Amazon Gray and Hampton Gray colors set the hybrid and PHEV models apart.

The 2024 Hyundai Venue stays faithful to its roots, retaining much of the charm that has made it a favorite among compact SUV drivers. However, the few tweaks it has received are thoughtful ones, focusing on utility and comfort. The SEL and Limited trims now have standard second-row USB ports. Keyless entry with push-button start, once an exclusive feature of the Limited trim, is now standard on the SEL. Finally, the base SE trim now comes with the six-speaker stereo system.
