Standard features in the base Tucson SE trim include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, remote keyless entry, cloth seats, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio setup, Bluetooth, HD Radio, two USB ports and wireless charging. A 10.25-inch touchscreen with an integrated navigation system is optional.

Advanced safety features that come standard include automatic high beams, a rearview camera, a driver attention warning system, forward collision mitigation, pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, and a rear-seat reminder.

At the time of this writing, the 2023 Hyundai Tucson has yet to be reviewed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. However, the 2022 Tucson is essentially the same model. It received the organization's highest safety rating of Top Safety Pick+. The 2023 Tucson should get the same score. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2023 Tucson its highest overall safety rating of five stars.
