2020 Hyundai Venue
For 2020, Hyundai has decided the world is ready for a new subcompact SUV, one that's smaller than any other model in its roster. If you thought the Kona would remain as the automaker's smallest crossover, Hyundai proves there's room for an even smaller model in its lineup, in the form of the 2020 Hyundai Venue. According to the Philadelphia Hyundai dealer, the Venue measures in at 5 inches shorter than the Kona, with a wheelbase that's 3.2 inches smaller. Buyers will love this diminutive hatchback's stunning looks, as well as it's affordable price tag.
Hyundai is billing the 2020 Hyundai Venue as the ideal vehicle for the "urban entrepreneur lifestyle," but we think it will also appeal to younger drivers, as well as anyone who needs a beautiful and reliable vehicle for running around town. Anyone looking for a reliable subcompact SUV at an economical price should take a serious look at the new 2020 Hyundai Venue at dealers like Philadelphia Hyundai.
The 2020 Hyundai Venue seats five passengers and is offered in two trim levels: SE and SEL. The Venue is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 121 horsepower, mated to a six-speed manual transmission in the SE trim or a CVT in the SEL. Front-wheel drive is standard across the board, with no all-wheel-drive option. Official EPA figures have yet to be announced, but according to Hyundai, the Venue should return 33 mpg in combined driving.
Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com took a look at the 2020 Hyundai Venue and came away impressed, writing: "... the Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV is pretty impressive in its own right, offering a compelling combination of style, features and value. If there are enough buyers for whom the tiny Venue is big enough, Hyundai might extend its SUV streak to four in a row."
The Venue features a wide-ranging suite of driver assistance technology equipment, including lane keeping assist, forward collision warning with automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring. Urban drivers will find these features will come in handy. Buyers can also choose the optional drowsy driver monitoring system, something you won't find on other entry-level models.
Other standard features include an 8-inch touchscreen, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. One interesting feature is the ability to link Hyundai's Blue Link communications system with Amazon Alexa and Google Home devices to do things such as start the vehicle remotely. Several option packages are available, including the Convenience package, the Premium package, the Sunroof package and the Connectivity package.
Buyers can order the 2020 Hyundai Venue in a number of attractive hues, including black, white, gray silver, Green Apple, Intense Blue, Scarlet Red and Denim (which comes with a denim cloth and simulated-leather interior). The Venue is also offered with a two-tone roof, mirror and trim color.
Of course, the 2020 Hyundai Venue benefits from Hyundai's industry-leading warranty, which consists of a five-year/60,000-mile comprehensive warranty, a 10-year/100,000-mile power-train warranty and five years of complimentary roadside assistance.
