The most notable of these changes is the Ioniq Electric's larger and more powerful battery pack. This new battery provides more range and a boost in horsepower. The onboard charger is faster, and buyers can choose from several new available features, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

Pushing the 2020 Hyundai Ioniq to the next level of safety and technology are features like stop-and-go for the adaptive cruise control system. The powerplant produces 134 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque, with an electric range of 170 miles. the updated 7.2 kW onboard charger can recharge the battery from empty to 80% in 54 minutes with a 100-kW fast-charging station.
