The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is a hatchback with a distinctive body style. There's one door on the driver's side and two doors on the passenger side. The Veloster delivers sporty performance that matches its looks. According to Hyundai Camden, the 2019 Hyundai Veloster seats four passengers and comes in five trim levels: 2.0, 2.0 Premium, Turbo R-Spec, Turbo and Turbo Ultimate. We'll go over the different features in each model.

Veloster 2.0

The base Hyundai Veloster 2.0 and 2.0 Premium trims are powered by an Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter inline-four engine that generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2.0 model comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission, although buyers can choose a six-speed automatic gearbox. Standard features include 17-inch wheels, a stereo system with six speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 7-inch infotainment system, two USB ports and Bluetooth. Safety features that come standard include a rearview camera, lane keeping assist and forward collision mitigation.

Veloster 2.0 Premium

The Veloster 2.0 Premium trim comes with the six-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment. Otherwise, it gets all the features found on the 2.0 trim and adds 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and proximity entry with push-button start. The infotainment system gets an 8-inch display, the Hyundai Blue Link system, a premium Infinity stereo system, satellite radio and a wireless charger.

Veloster Turbo R-Spec

The Veloster Turbo R-Spec hits the sweet spot, with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that develops 147 hp, and 132 lb-ft of torque. This block is also standard on the Turbo and Turbo Ultimate models. The Turbo R-Spec gets a standard six-speed manual gearbox, a sport-tuned suspension and summer performance tires. Standard features include most of the equipment found on the 2.0 trim, plus the infotainment system from the Premium, proximity entry with push-button start, and Blue Link connectivity.

Veloster Turbo

The Veloster Turbo starts with the features of the 2.0 Premium and adds the turbocharged engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and exclusive interior trim.

Veloster Turbo Ultimate

The Veloster Turbo Ultimate comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an available seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Standard features include leather seats, a navigation system and a head-up display. Safety equipment that comes standard includes automatic wipers, adaptive cruise control (for models with an automatic transmission) and forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection.

Veloster N

The Veloster N trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four unit that makes 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The N comes with 18-inch wheels with special tires, exclusive suspension tuning with adaptive dampers, a reinforced body structure, a rear wing, performance brakes, sport front seats and unique red accents. The N has an available Performance package that adds 19-inch wheels, a limited-slip front differential, bigger brakes, a variable exhaust, and engine modifications that adds another 25 hp.
