Over the years, the Hyundai Tucson has remained one of the best values in the compact crossover segment. According to the Toms River Hyundai Dealer, major updates were made to the 2019 model. Not only does the 2019 Hyundai Tucson benefit from more standard safety features, but it also has a sharper look.

When checking out the new Tucson at the Hyundai Dealer Serving Toms River, you'll have a total of six trims to choose from. Let's find out what separates one trim from the next.

Tucson SE

The base Tucson SE is a genuine bang for the buck. It comes loaded with a number of popular features. You'll especially appreciate the 7.0-inch color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone support. Standard automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist further highlight the Tucson SE as a great bargain. YES Essentials cloth fabric makes cleaning spills especially easy. Some of the other key features include Bluetooth streaming, a six-speaker stereo system, a rearview camera and a USB port.

Power comes from a 2.0-liter, GDI four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop a competitive 164 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission sends the available power to the front wheels. However, all-wheel drive is available as an option.

Tucson Value

While the Tucson Value is powered by the same engine, it comes loaded with a few more niceties. While the heated front seats will prove their worth during the winter, Hyundai's Blue Link Connected Car system ensures easy access to emergency roadside assistance. Meanwhile, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert gives you more awareness on the road. Other upgrades include satellite radio, a power driver's seat and push-button start.

Tucson SEL

If you desire more power under the hood, step up to the Tucson SEL. It comes equipped with a stronger 2.4-liter, GDI four-cylinder engine. Hyundai tuned it to develop 181 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. While a set of 18-inch alloy wheels give the Tucson SEL a more aggressive stance, dual-zone automatic climate control enhances passenger comfort. A second-row USB port is featured on the SEL trim as well.

Tucson Sport

The Tucson Sport has an especially athletic appearance. It comes equipped with a unique set of 19-inch alloy wheels and LED exterior lighting. An eight-speaker Infinity premium sound system seeks to excite music fans. Wireless smartphone charging and a hands-free liftgate elevate the Sport trim's appeal.

Tucson Limited

Drivers seeking even more luxury should take a look at the Tucson Limited. Leather upholstery and upgraded door trim give it an upscale feel. To help with parking in congested areas, Hyundai equips the Limited trim with a 360-degree camera system. A heated steering wheel and a power passenger seat are also found on the Tucson Limited.

Tucson Ultimate

Atop the lineup sits the Tucson Ultimate. It comes equipped with exclusive features not available on the other trims. Pedestrian detection comes with the Tucson Ultimate's upgraded Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system. Ventilated front seats and heated rear seats reward your family with an even more relaxing ride. Adaptive cruise control and an 8.0-inch touchscreen with navigation sweeten the deal.
