  • The SE, SEL, Sport and Limited are powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four engine that develops 185 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine returns EPA-estimated fuel economy rated at 25 mpg city/36 mpg highway for the Sonata SE, and 25 mpg city/35 mpg highway on the other trims.
  • The Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four that puts out 245 hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Fuel economy checks in at 23 mpg city/32 mpg highway.
  • The Eco is motivated by a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four that makes 178 hp and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, matched to a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic. This highly fuel-efficient engine gets an impressive 28 mpg city/37 mpg highway.

Tech lovers will appreciate the many technology features that come standard, including a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a USB port.
